Auditions for the spring mainstage play, Macbeth, will be held on Wednesday, February 26th and callbacks will be Friday, February 28th.
The audition packet and script for Macbeth are posted below, as well as information about the Shakespeare workshops.
We encourage everyone interested in the production to audition regardless of experience level with Shakespeare. There will a number of roles that will do more movement/fight choreography rather than text, in addition to the large number of speaking roles.
Questions can be directed to Grant Sorenson at email@example.com.
Shakespeare Text Workshops
For students interested in working on their Shakespeare skills before auditions, we will be offering two workshops on Saturday, February 8 from 12-2pm and Tuesday, February 18 from 3:30-5:30pm. You don't have to attend both but it is recommended; the second workshop will build on skills taught at the first one. These workshops are free and open to anyone interested in learning text skills for auditions. We will be exploring the monologue selections included in the audition packet. We will be joined on the 18th by Sally Wingert, whose credits include Broadway, the West End, and over 90 productions at the Guthrie Theater, currently Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.
